Girly pages

I have loved doing girly pages so I thought I would put up photos of 2 pages that I have made of my friends daughter Vaishali... also known as one of Cooper's best friends. I have many photos of her incase I get the need to do some girly pages. The llayout with the card has been made using Kaszazz papers from when I worked for them. The silver circles are embossed by using embossing ink as a pen. I love the pen idea as there is so many things you can do with it. The other 2 are layouts using the beautiful Kaiser papers. I absolutely love the fairly page with the big blue flowers and it was so easy to do that page with such beautiful photos.I hope you like them :) Sorry about the small photos. I need to get in and tidy them up one day.

Catching up

I have alot of catching up to do with photos but I wont be able to put up everything in a hurry as I am getting into blog competitions. I have become quite in love with the comps and although I havnt enterted one yet I thought If I can get the hang of this blog it will make submitting so much easier. Im excited to get my work out there, its very simplistic and different from what I see on websites but I feel I have grown alot as a scrapbooking and the challenges I am doing make my look and think outside the box which I love.

This photo is of a page I made for a competition with the scrapbook expo in Brisbane. They wanted purple, birthday, royalty etc. I absolutely love it and I definately want to submit it in a few more competitions. Its using bo bunny papers, kaiser stamps, kaiser and bo bunny bling and making memories letters with silver ink that has been embossed with clear embossing powder.

So clean that table off, get the art supplies out and have fun!

My love of scrapbooking

I am hanging out to show you all my new pages but there's so many that at the moment I will just put up the news ones. I'm not sure if I can just put an album on here so it may be a bit messy until I work it out properly. This one is the beginning of a love for little girls pages. I've done 4 since this one and I am loving every minute of it. This one has a few layers and one day I will cut that frayed part of ribbon on the right. I hope you like it. Can't believe she is now walking, hope I get to see her in June. LOTS more pages to come. xo

Cooper's Birthday

I have to say that Cooper's birthday ended up being amazing. We didn't expect Jono to be home for the party but he was and he was also home for Cooper's actual birthday which was a great suprise. Cooper got presents for over 2 weeks so he definately milked this birthday thing for all it's worth. He loves all his presents but he had no idea what the party was for or why he was getting presents. But oh well, as long as he's happy, I am happy. I put a photo from his 1st birthday party aswell as it's just so hard to believe it's been a year already.

Wow my very own blog!

I am so excited! Since moving to Yeppoon I have noticed alot of people have blogs as they have moved here from overseas or far away from all their family. I am not too sure why I started mine, part of the reason is to showcase my scrapbooking and card making but I also think it will be a great idea to keep family and friends up to date. I hope I can keep up with it all and if the scrapbooking part of it is more popular then I might just leave it as a scrapbooking blog but for the moment I hope you enjoy keeping up with me and my little family. xo
